Techno TH389 Industrial Connectors — Fast and Reliable IP66/IP68/IP69 Connection
The compact Techno TH389 industrial connector series is designed for fast and reliable electrical connections where a high degree of protection, compact dimensions and easy installation are required.
One of the key features of the series is the Easy-Click (Push-Pull) connection system. The plug is simply inserted into the socket until the locking mechanism engages. This design significantly reduces connection time while helping prevent accidental disconnection. In applicable versions, the locking system withstands a pull-out force of up to 25 kg.
Fast Installation and Error-Proof Design
The TH389 design simplifies not only plug and socket connection but also cable installation. The cable gland uses a mechanical bayonet locking system with a safety lock, helping prevent incorrect assembly and loosening caused by vibration.
The 4- and 5-pole versions with spring terminals allow tool-free conductor connection. These versions support conductor cross-sections from 0.25 to 1.5 mm², with ratings up to 17.5 A and 500 V AC/DC. A pair of screwless connectors can be assembled in approximately 30 seconds.
The TH389 family also includes higher-current versions with screw terminals. For example, 4-pole models are rated up to 25 A and 630 V AC, extending the use of the series to higher-power electrical applications.
High Degree of Protection
Depending on the configuration, TH389 connectors provide a high level of protection against dust, water and demanding environmental conditions. Applicable versions are available with IP66, IP68 and IP69 protection ratings, making them suitable for industrial equipment and outdoor installations.
